General Questions

The Sports Ledger platform is based on a series of core innovations layers that will leverage the power of new technologies to enrich users’ experiences. Amongst this suite of technologies are artificial intelligence and machine learning, which will provide accurate predictive analytics. In addition, blockchain and smart contracts will serve as the backbone of the ecosystem, allowing tokens to be transferred by way of rewards between platform users. Biometric data will also be stored on the platform in a tamper-resistant manner, allowing athletes to create their own digital passports and to share this information with select users.

Sports Ledger is built on the basis of integrating Blockchain technologies with a SPSL token cryptocurrency using Ethereum based smart-contracts. This allows it to remove intermediaries and mistakes being made within sports data. To date there is no other sporting platforms offering this level of detail and scope.

ITO, or Initial Token Offering, is a mechanism for raising funds for a new cryptocurrency venture and start-up companies. In an ICO, a quantity of the crowdfunded cryptocurrency is sold to participants in the form of "tokens", in exchange for other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. These tokens become functional units within the project when the ITO's funding goal is met and the project launches.

Pre-ITO is conducted before the main ITO fundraising for the project begins. A Pre-ITO is conducted to test and verify the demand for the project, get support from the community and expand the budget for marketing in the ITO. Most Pre-ITO fundraisers offer a bonus reward to early participants.

A cryptocurrency (or crypto currency) is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange that uses cryptography to secure its transactions, to control the creation of additional units, and to verify the transfer of assets. Cryptocurrencies are a type of digital currencies, alternative currencies and virtual currencies. Economic system

SPSL tokens are not stocks, goods or investments. SPSL is a revolutionary token that will empower a wave of innovation in the world of sports, allowing users to access an innovative, data-driven platform that utilizes the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Smart Contracts. SPSL will serve as the platform’s utility token, providing access to a variety of services and rewarding users who contribute towards the success of the ecosystem.

SPSL tokens are created instantly and automatically by a smart contract on the Ethereum Blockchain. Once our smart contract address received ETH into it, it shall automatically return the corresponding amount of SPSL tokens to the sender.

SPSL tokens can only be obtained by participating in the Sports Ledger initial token offering.

Participation in initial token offerings

In order to participate in the initial token offering, you need to have Ethereum (ETH) cryptocurrency. Participants cannot participate using fiat currency.

You can purchase Ethereum (ETH) directly via existing service providers or exchanges, for example www.coinbase.com, www.exmo.me or www.bitpanda.com and many more. There are many other exchanges which ETH can be purchased on, but be careful of phishing scam sites and make sure to read all reviews before purchasing from websites you are not familiar with (including those mentioned).

Phishers or phishing scam emails send you a message with a link to a website that looks just like other websites like; MyEtherWallet, EtherDelta, CoinBase, or your bank, but is not the real website. They often replace letters in the name with similar looking letters; for example I and l, m and n, o and 0. Make sure all website address links are spelt correctly to avoid phishers stealing your information and money.
